RUGGERBUGS

Our LADYBIRDS sessions are in readiness for your child starting school, this session bridges the gap between toddler play and school age games as your child begins to understand the rules and concepts of play.

Whilst parent participation is still encouraged the focus is on your child becoming more independent and able to complete many of the activities on their own or learning as part of a group with the support and guidance of trained coaches.

Basic motor skills are now enhanced with more challenging rugby inspired skills, drills, and games
and your child is given will continue to further develop their “skills4life” communication and listening skills when completing the activities based around balance, agility and co-ordination, speed, and strength.

Your child will be individually challenged during the session but will also start to learn how to work as part of a team

At the end of each session your Child will receive a weekly Sidney Sticker to collect and stick on their Sidney Sticker Chart.

As your child progress through the RUGGERBUGS “Head Start” Programme they will achieve “SIDNEY SKILL AWARDS” in line with the programme structure and criteria. These will be assessed and monitored at the end of each term and allow a smooth transition into the next class when your child is ready.
