Description
The Singing Mamas women's song circle meets every week during term-time in an airy, spacious, comfortable and well-lit space. Singing our enjoyable, easy to learn songs helps women feel more connected to each other (and their baby or child, if they have one). Our very gentle warm-ups and singing improves breathing, posture and muscle tension, leading to a sense of greater physical and emotional wellbeing. Learning new songs together is fun and stimulates the brain! When we team up to sing with those around us, we give and receive from others and feel a sense of community. Paying attention to the present moment while singing has been proven to reduce stress hormone levels.
