Description

While we all hope we never have to use any of it, this highly valuable Emergency First Aid course is a ‘must’ for all new parents, grandparents & carers! The session is split into how to manage a primary assessment with minor cuts, bleeds, poisons, burns, head injuries & illnesses, to seizures, allergies, sepsis, meningitis & drowning (including secondary drowning), plus so much more. Followed by a practical session on the use of epi pens, the recovery position, choking, CPR and the use of an AED with both baby & child manequins.
We look at where to go in the event of certain incidents/emegencies happening (adresses and opening hours) etc, first aid kits for home and travel and how to baby/toddler proof your home in order to keep your little one safe.
