THE CASTLE PLAY SPACE CIC

Our preschool programme is designed to prepare your child for the transition to nursery or reception in a friendly, relaxed and fun environment. It is run by Caroline, an early years specialist primary school teacher with 20 years experience. It includes learning through play, activities designed to develop social skills, boost confidence, encourage talking and build a routine similar to school. Each session includes free play, an introduction to early phonics, mark making for writing, exploring counting and numbers, song and rhyme time and story and snack to finish.

Block booking is encouraged as it allows both child and adults to build relationships with other families and to support school readiness. When booked for a half term, children receive their own name card used for self registration and adults will be given guidance on how to support their child's development.
