Our Fun Phonics sessions are designed to help your children recognise letter sounds and blend them together to make words on their journey to become fluent readers! Our classes are filled with engaging activities that will leave your child wanting to read more! We will also support your child with the year 1 phonics check.

Hi, I’m Lena, the founder of The Imagination Hub!

I am incredibly passionate about seeing children blossom having successfully worked with new borns to 11-years-olds for over 22 years! I’ve been fortunate enough to watch the children I teach from diverse backgrounds grow and flourish! I love teaching children and believe their imagination can take them on an exciting journey where they can reach the highest of heights!

I have a BTEC in Nursery Nursing and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Primary Education (Early Childhood studies) with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status). DBS checked.

My experience includes phonics expertise, specialising in the use of Read, Write Inc (RWI) while also having in-depth knowledge and experience in the Maths Mastery Approach.

I have been privileged to develop my career as primary school teacher, Maths subject leader, and an Assistant Headteacher.

My passion and experience inspired me to create bespoke classes for the community around me; making learning through play the foundation for children to embark on a journey of limitless possibilities.

I love spending time with loved ones, getting lost in a book, painting, shopping, cooking, eating and enjoying a good cuppa!
