Description
The next step in our programme is especially designed to help children develop their confidence and independence. They are more drama based and centre around a story each term. We also gently expand their vocabulary to include some musical terms and develop more careful listening skills, instruction following, rhythmic awareness and independent singing. Sessions are held weekly and last for 45 minutes. The children attend without an adult (adults must stay on site) thus gaining initial preparation for the giant step of starting “big” school. At the end of each term, grow ups are invited in for the last class to share our learning for the term's theme.
