THE MOON BEAR BOOK CLUB

The Moon Bear Book Club invites you and your little one to join us in in celebrating some children's classic books through messy play, nature crafts and sensory activities.
Come and enjoy story time with a difference. At The Moon Bear Book Club, your little one will be immersed in the ‘Book of the Week,’ through an interactive book reading, followed by activities which explore the book’s themes and events.
Each session will be run by a qualified Primary School Teacher, with carefully planned activities which support and develop your child's motor skills and enhance their language and communication. As your child learns about the world around them, an early love of reading is promoted- all whilst creating precious family memories!
The Moon Bear Book Club is suitable for babies from 6 months (or babies who are sitting and have begun weaning) and for children up to 5 years old. Each week, there will be a variety of activities which allow you and your little one to get as messy (or not) as you like! You just need to bring a change of clothes and a towel and let us know of any allergies prior to the class. There is also the option of the ‘Make It’ task, where you can use the materials provided to create an artistic masterpiece to take home. Where possible, our materials are natural, biodegradable, recycled or made from household products.
Although we expect you to stay and play with your child, the class is also a great opportunity for you to meet other carers and parents. We endeavour to make each session a social and supportive environment, so while your little one plays, you can chat and have that much needed adult interaction.
The best bits… provide your child with messy play opportunities and leave the clearing up to us!
