THE SPACE SOMERSET

Cheddar Community Garden is presented by The Space Youth Club.

This is at Petruth Paddocks, Labourham Drove, Cheddar BS27 3FS (follow the signs from the Drove) there is no available parking on-site, so we recommend families park and walk. The open event runs from 4pm until 8pm. We need families to confirm attendance so that we can supply food. Burgers / hot dogs and drinks available to purchase. Outdoor games, a chance to see the garden and time to socialise and play. 

The Cheddar Community Garden is a community space gifted by Julian Sayers who is the proprietor of Petruth Paddocks. Julian is a huge support and contributor to the community of Cheddar and his unfailing generosity will benefit all of the community. The garden will be a space to meet socialise, grow together, support each other and to spend time outdoors. It will also offer as a reflective space for those looking for peace and quiet in our busy lives. The Garden is also being supported by Andy Derrick, who has started work on the restoration of the greenhouse and raised beds and our Community Allotment volunteers who are already busy preparing seeds and plants for the raised beds. 

This is a free event although it would be helpful to know how many people are thinking of joining us so we know how many to cater for. We are asking for donations for the food and drink.
