Description
Tots Play’s Baby Development course is designed especially for our youngest babies, and provides new parents with a range of skills and activity ideas to give your baby a head start in life. Running over six weeks the course includes;
• Baby Massage – a simple routine to help you calm, connect and communicate with your baby. Including specific strokes to help relieve colic and digestive problems.
• Baby Yoga – stretches, poses and movements to both stimulate and soothe baby, and a great way to have fun together.
• Baby Sign Language – how to start using simple gestures (signs) to aid communication with your baby.
• Sensory Play – fun activities to Boost Sensory and Body Awareness using a variety of everyday items to aid learning.
• Tummy Time Techniques – why tummy time is important and how to make it more effective and fun.
• Calming Techniques – helping you understand your baby and effective ways to help calm and soothe them as they go through their early development stages.
• Songs and Rhymes – how to bring music and movement into your play times to make them even more engaging and valuable to your baby’s development.
• Cuddles, Smiles, Bubbles and Lots of Fun!
Classes run for around 50 minutes and are friendly and relaxed, with a maximum of ten babies (plus mum or dad!) per course. To ensure you get the most out of the course you will receive a full colour workbook, giving details other techniques and activity ideas covered at each session, plus background information on each of the topics.
You will also receive a Free Music Download containing a selection of the songs used during the course and a bottle of massage oil so that you can practice both massage and yoga at home with your little one, and get other family members involved. The course is also a great way to meet other mums and babies, and find a support network of likeminded people with babies of a similar age, and sets the foundation for the ongoing Tots Play Baby and Toddler programme.

Tots Play classes usually run inline with school term time. Class dates will be provided for you in advance of each term block. Your payment plan covers all fees for the year, with the exception of August, when no classes run and no payment is taken. The fees are split into 11 monthly payments of £24, therefore the payment will remain the same regardless of how many classes are running that month due to school holidays. The aim is to make it more affordable and easier to manage financially, rather than having one large lump sum to pay up front for each block. I'll automatically re-enrol you onto the next term, so your place is secure and you won't need to remember to rebook each term. You can leave at any point and we've kept the cancellation process as simple as possible. All you need to do is let me know via email by the 15th of the month and your subscription will be cancelled and no further payments will be taken. (Minimum 2 month subscription period before cancellation). You can join at any time of the month and the classes will be added to your first subscription payment at a rate of £7 per class.
