This class has been designed just for new parents to attend a baby class together giving them the opportunity to spend some quality time with their little one.

This class is suitable for babies from 6 weeks old until mobile. Massage should be avoided for 48 hours after vaccinations.

Massage is a great way to start connecting with baby through gentle touch, it has so many benefits which include helping aid digestion, trapped wind, constipation, promotes better sleep and helping parents bond and connect on a deeper level and boost 'happy hormones' like oxytocin and prolactin and lowers the levels of stress related hormones like ACTH and cortisol. Massage allows you to teach your baby how to physically relax when under stress, and for parents its allows you to engage with baby and understand your baby and recognise their cues. We use gentle stretching and movements to rhymes for babies. Teaching massage techniques to ease and relax baby, we will work down the body from head to toe all in a beautiful relaxed setting using sensory lights.

Parents are to bring a towel for baby. Coconut oil is provided, I ask that a patch test is completed at the start of class to ensure their is no allergies to the oil. Parents are also welcome to use their own oil or creams.
