Hello! I'm Emily McInnes, a Paediatric Nurse and Certified Holistic Sleep Coach.
I have always had a passion for caring for babies and young children. I have over ten years experience in the healthcare setting and I want to use my skills, knowledge and expert advice to support you, your child and the rest of the family so that you can all benefit from a better night's sleep.

Children's sleep is something that has always been of interest to me. Over the past year I have been more heavily involved in this area through my role as a paediatric nurse. I have realised that children's sleep is much more complex than I had ever thought it to be. Now that I have gained a deeper insight into this complex but fascinating area, I can see how and why so many people need help and support to understand their child's sleep habits to differentiate what is normal for their age and stage of development and what needs a little bit of TLC.

Having an understanding of sleep biology, sleep cycles, circadian rhythm, attachment styles and so on, this allows me to apply the evidence based practice to real life situations. I can help you understand your child's sleep and support you with gentle strategies to make your child's sleep journey a positive experience filled with love and happiness.
