What St Michael & All Angels Church Londonfields says

All Stars is the name the children of St Michael’s have chosen for themselves. All Stars is made up of 3 groups: Baby and Toddler Stars (babies – 3 years) Little Stars (3 – 4 years) Super Stars (5-11 years) Please note that, for reasons arising from the COVID pandemic, only Super Stars is running currently. The Risk Assessment we are using currently is here. All Age Sundays Once a month (usually the first Sunday) our service is All Age Worship. This is a shorter, more child-friendly service. Children stay in church, and when communion is distributed, those not confirmed are offered blessed bread. Other Sundays Baby and Toddler Stars stay with their parents/carers. Little Stars meet in the Meeting Room. Super Stars meet in the Church Hall Members of the Youth Group (Year 7 and above, plus Year 6’s who have been confirmed) are welcome to choose to stay in church or help with Super Stars. Super Stars and Little Stars usually leave the service just before the Bible readings. Their groups are run by adult volunteers who use a planned termly curriculum which reflects the seasons and festivals. Bible stories and themes are brought to life using art, craft, song and games. They return to gather around the altar with those receiving Holy Communion and receive a blessing if they wish.
