Sweaty Mama is a unique and effective way to exercise whilst you bond with your child. No need to organise childcare to get to the gym, Sweaty Mama allows you to spend quality time with your child whilst you undertake the workout. Exercises are adapted to suit all ages & development of the child as well as suit the fitness level of the Mama. Over the course of sessions, you gradually build up your fitness level and strengthen your core & posture to rehabilitate your body after having a child. A fab, fun workout to upbeat music both you and your child will love!* With babies, toddlers and Preschoolers all joining in the fun!
About
My name is Amie, and I run Sweaty Mama Basildon & Surrounding Areas.
I decided to join Sweaty Mama because it helps me stay physically fit and active, but also allows me to meet new likeminded mamas. The classes are fun and interactive so teaching them never feels like work!
I live with my partner Shane, and our daughter, Mila. I love being a mum, but I also recognise how challenging parenting can be. That’s why I’m so passionate about offering a safe and welcoming space to pre and postnatal mamas that allows ladies to prioritise not only their physical, but also mental health.
Mila comes along to majority of the sessions, and often gets involved, dancing along to the music or sharing snacks with all of the new friends she’s made, so it’s great to know that the little ones enjoy the sessions as much as we do!
If that’s not enough... I’m a true coffee addict, a list maker, R’n’B lover, and a sweet toothed sun worshipper, who will never say “no” to a cold glass of Prosecco... and I can’t wait to meet you!
