What Sweaty Mama says
Sweaty Mama is a unique and effective way to exercise whilst you bond with your child. No need to organise childcare to get to the gym, Sweaty Mama allows you to spend quality time with your child whilst you undertake the workout. Exercises are adapted to suit all ages & development of the child as well as suit the fitness level of the Mama. Over the course of sessions, you gradually build up your fitness level and strengthen your core & posture to rehabilitate your body after having a child. A fab, fun workout to upbeat music both you and your child will love!* With babies, toddlers and Preschoolers all joining in the fun!
About
My name is Sophia and I am a 36 year old Mama to my 3 crazy babies; 9 year old Jackson, 7 year old Florence and 5 year old Elliot. I married to the equally crazy Chris, and, as if our house in the lovely town of Marlow wasn’t busy enough, we have 2 little doggies too!
I love keeping fit and having an exercise regime, which recently has included running and hit-style workouts. The feeling of improving my fitness is amazing and, to be honest, it’s lovely to have a bit of me-time away from the family!
I am also a massive foodie and love trying new dishes. This perhaps comes from my national heritage, being half Greek, with the other half being Welsh, which probably isn’t the most common mix – I like to refer to myself as being Grelsh! However, if I won the lottery (aside from the obvious holiday!!) I would 100% have a live-in chef, as with the 3 little ones and months of being confined during lockdown, cooking is not as exciting as it used to be (think I have done the ‘batch-cooks’ to death)!
Being a Mum is without a doubt the most amazing thing I have experienced, which is what makes me even more excited about this new chapter in my life, as I not only get to build my own business from a fantastic brand with great values, but I also get to work with groups of amazing new Mums and help them to build their fitness and, in-turn, grow their confidence, which is something I feel is really important.
