What Sweaty Mama says
Sweaty Mama is a unique and effective way to exercise whilst you bond with your child. No need to organise childcare to get to the gym, Sweaty Mama allows you to spend quality time with your child whilst you undertake the workout. Exercises are adapted to suit all ages & development of the child as well as suit the fitness level of the Mama. Over the course of sessions, you gradually build up your fitness level and strengthen your core & posture to rehabilitate your body after having a child. A fab, fun workout to upbeat music both you and your child will love!* With babies, toddlers and Preschoolers all joining in the fun!
About
Hi, my name is Lucy, and I am the owner of Sweaty Mama Sefton South and Mama to my gorgeous little rascal Lucas.
I want my classes to be a safe place for mamas to access exercise, gain confidence, build relationships with other mamas to support each other through the highs and lows of motherhood whilst having fun.
My passion is to help women to feel the best they can about themselves by becoming mentally and physically healthy and strong.
I am currently an Advanced Practitioner with the NHS but since suffering with post-natal depression myself and my husband Tom working away at sea, I want to have a career where I could help mamas access exercise, become more confident and have better self-esteem without having to worry about childcare and Sweaty Mama’s offers all that.
As well as being Mama to Lucas I also have a fur baby called Pippa who is a cocker spaniel. In our spare time we love to go on adventures including Crosby beach, Formby Pinewoods, Delamere Forest and one of our favourite places, Knowsley Safari Park.
