What The Parish of Boxmoor says

1. Children from the age of 3 have a special group in which to explore their faith. This meets during the Sunday 9:30 Parish Eucharist, from September to the end of the school year (except on the first Sunday of the month and during school holidays). They can learn about the Christian faith through games, stories, crafts and other activities. Junior Church leave the service after the notices (parents may come too if preferred) and return in time for Communion and a ‘show and tell’. 2.We are in the process of establishing a Messy Church at St John’s for children of Primary School age and their families. From January, we hope this will take place on the 3rd Sunday of the month at 3pm in St John’s Church and Hall. Watch this space for more details as they become available. 3. This group meets every Tuesday in term time in the Church Hall for playtime and refreshments at 9.30am, followed by a Service of action songs and prayers in church, finishing at 11.00am. In summer we hold a picnic in the Church grounds, and in January a New Year party. Ideal for babies and little ones under 5.
