Pre and Postnatal yoga

What Wellness with Alice says

Whether you join my six week course in person or choose to practice with me privately my classes will be sequenced around a variety of themes / Muscle or body area. Each class will include teaching skills of breath, relaxation, birth preparation and asana all adapted to support prenatal / postnatal needs.

Our Asana practice will cover standing postures, balancing postures, hip openers, backbends, twists and inversions so that no body part is left untouched.

In Pre-natal yoga the emphasis will be a lot on release, relaxation and preparation for birth.

In Post-natal we will focus more on support, strength and coming back home to our bodies.

With my experience and blend of Personal Training and Reformer Pilates I am a firm believer in encompassing a strong and supple body to support your growing bump therefore my classes will be challenging in all the right places and relaxing and rejuvenating.

supporting your body to withstand all the aches and niggles that come hand in hand whilst looking after a little person!
