About
I'm a 37 year old mother of 2. My eldest is my son, he's 18 and my youngest is my daughter and she's 1. Yes, big age gap! I know what it's like to be a young single mum as well as I do now I've settled down.
I've wanted to use my creativity and fun side in every job I've been in - and I have..well, as much as I could. I've done voluntary work as well as pulling pints at many pubs in Reading and even gone corporate for a while - that last one really didn't gel with me so well! Anyway, I'm fortunate enough now in my life to have moved into a home that I can work from and invite others to enjoy a magical little world created to explore.
As most parents will have noticed, the world has changed so much in the last 10 years, let alone 20 or 30. Technology has taken over and we've lost a sense of community spirit. Our children may never know what it's like to knock for your mates and not use text or use an app to communicate. I miss those days and I know I'm not alone.
YOT Club is about making friends, having fun and changing the future to be a more positive one for our children, in doing so we make the lives of our whole community better. Imagine a world where our children grow up together as friends and have the same values. Having that want to get out, have fun, be active and explore our community and the world by being in it and not via screens. I've started planting seeds with my daughter, she has no idea what's going on - but she will and it won't be from a short video post or picture. We've planted pumpkin seeds and herbs. We plan to be growing our own veg ready for next year. I want to share this experience with others come rain or shine!
We have a large room with lots of fun and sensory including bright walls, textured pillows and rugs, a disco ball and bubbles, play kitchen, indoor campsite surrounding that opens out to a baby zen garden with small furniture for toddlers and chairs for you too.
