What Angeleen Knight Yoga says

A relaxing 75 minute class and a special opportunity to connect with expectant Mums (2nd and 3rd trimester).

Yoga means union – to yoke or join. In the very spirit of yoga, this is a friendly and non judgemental space to connect, share, exfoliate the mind, and come back to the temple of your body and home of your baby. After a rejuvenating class, we will gather over chai tea and a homemade treat.

Over the course of the 5 weeks, you will also receive information materials on:
* Breathing practices, essential for labour
* Techniques to support your ever changing body
* Traditional yogic wisdom, handed down throughout the ages

It’s worth noting your rights as an employee for antenatal appointments, which do not just include medical appointments. Further information is available at https://www.gov.uk/working-when-pregnant-your-rights
You must have had the all clear following your 12 week scan from your doctor/midwife to participate.

A booking form will be sent you following your registration to discuss your situation and how I can best support you and your baby safely.

Cancellation policy: Please note, every effort will be made to refund you if there is enough time to fill your position, however a cancellation fee may be incurred to cover the costs of venue hire.

About

Hello, I’m Angeleen, known to most as Ange. I was born and raised in a rural town in Western Australia and moved to the UK in 2015. I now live in the beautiful city of Brighton with my husband George and our Labrador Ralph. We are expecting our first child in December.

My yoga journey started in my early twenties and slowly without my even realising it became a part of my internal essence. After many years of practice, I decided to pursue my study and in 2021 I undertook my yoga teacher training. Initially for myself but through self discovery it has become a way of living my life in a more conscious and giving way. My passion & commitment to yoga allows me to continue my life long journey from the teachings handed down through the ages.

The sun was an ever present force in my early years and it continues to inspire me to bring the same uplifting energy to my classes. The focus through my teachings is to lead students to flow with an open heart, honouring the beauty of your own unique body as we uncover freedom and joy through mindful movement.

Most importantly, it is great privilege for me to me to be able to disperse the joy I generate on my mat into my relationships with others and to hold space for you as we journey through a thoughtful sequence. Everyone is welcome, come as you are.
