ARTQINATURE PILATES

Post-natal Pilates classes that you can attend with your baby :)

What ArtQinature Pilates says

Hello, I am Laura, a Pilates teacher and mother of a 9 months old baby. Come to move with us, meet other mothers and share your postnatal journey!

This is a friendly and supportive class that you can attend with your baby. Just bring whatever you need for the baby (few toys, a blanket to cover the mat...) and we provide the rest.

Your baby is allowed to cry, chill or play! You are welcome to feed them, change them and give them whatever comfort they need during the class.

Before starting Post-natal Pilates you must have firstly your 6-8 weeks check up and wait a minimum of 8 weeks after a caesarean. This is a guide and you can always call us to check suitability before booking. We keep classes small with a maximum of 8.

About

Laura is a level 3 Pilates matwork and reformer teacher specialised in pre and post-natal pilates, pilates for hypermobility, and pilates for lower back pain. She is also currently completing the Back4Good® certification.

Her journey in Pilates started in 2015 when she was advised to try Pilates after suffering from continuous upper back pain. Pilates not only solved her physical pain and restored her posture, but it also brought her calmness and focus. After practicing it regularly for a few years she decided she wanted to teach others what had been so beneficial to her, and she got qualified through the world-leading education provider for Pilates teaching, Body Control Pilates, in 2019.

She founded ArtQinature Pilates and embarked on the mission to improve her clients' health, using Pilates as an instrument to promote body awareness and wellbeing.

She is fascinated by the mind-body connection and likes her classes to incorporate elements from different fitness disciplines, especially interested in the role of fascia and breathing in movement.

Being a former architect, she is familiar with office environments which allows her to understand the daily issues faced by her desk-bound clients and to help them get rid of stiffness and bad postures.

When she is not teaching or learning, she enjoys spending time in nature, visiting art and design exhibitions, attending performances, and discovering new places. But, she is also the happiest person relaxing at home reading, gardening…in the company of her family and cat.
