During pregnancy major changes develop both physically and emotionally. Learning how to adapt and nurture this process, will allow a smooth transition into motherhood.
Yoga offers the tools to help you recognise the changes during this very special journey, developing a stronger body and mind as well as cultivating breath awareness.
Every pregnancy is a personal and very individual journey. Keeping active will increase mobility and help the body to prepare for childbirth and aid recovery after labour. Coming to a class will also connect you with mums to be in the community. We recommend you start your yoga practice with us from 10 weeks onward. Exploring gentle movements with the support and guidance of your teacher, you will soon be experiencing the benefits a pregnancy yoga practice has to offer.

Here at Deva Yoga, we offer a variety of classes to suit everyone. Being a small, intimate studio in the heart of Chislehurst, our passion is to make yoga available to everyone, young and old, men and women, children and teens. We have small classes, which allows our team of professional and gifted teachers to support, guide and assist you to get the most out of your practice. ‘Yoga really is for everyone’.
