LITTLE FISHES SWIM SCHOOL

Parent & Baby Level 1 swimming classes in Oxted, South Godstone, Westerham and Dorking.

Required age – 10 weeks to 12 months.

These classes are for babies who are just starting their swimming journey. Lessons are delivered by a team of highly qualified teachers led by Dotty Harris, the founder of Little Fishes and teaching professional with over 20 years experience developing swimmers of all ages. Dotty combines her years of swim teaching and education practice to provide an amazing programme that empowers parents to teach their babies to swim, developing core swim techniques and confidence in children as well as life saving skills from a very young age.

 Our classes are designed to be enjoyable and fun for babies, children and parents too. Your children will enjoy learning to swim with us, giving them confidence in the water from an early age. It’s also a great place for parents to make new friends.

In LEVEL ONE you will learn techniques of teaching your baby to swim short distances underwater holding breath, float on her/his back with your support (some babies will float for a short time without any support), swim to the side and hold on whilst keeping the head above the surface – which is an important survival skill. Submerging is child led and NOT compulsory. Your baby will enjoy swimming on top of the water should they prefer to do so.
