About
About Emma
“I started my career over 20 years ago as a Fitness and Aerobics Instructor, sidestepping into the world of Health and Beauty and building up a foundation of qualifications in a cross section of specialisms, from Sports Massage to Waxing. I started attending Mat Pilates classes in 2010 and like many people, it was a longstanding back injury that lead me there. I had spent years having various treatments on my back which never proved completely satisfactory but I had heard about the benefits of Pilates and felt compelled to try it. Within weeks my back spasms had stopped and I felt stronger and free from pain. I felt leaner and taller too (at 5’1” that’s a big deal!). In 2015 I decided to expand my Pilates knowledge and train as a Level 3 Mat Pilates Instructor, gradually setting up classes with friends and friends of friends, and by the end of 2016 I was teaching 6 classes a week.
