BUMPS IN BLOOM

The Newborn Care Workshop is part of the full Parent Course (can be booked separately or as part of the full course - see separate listing & discount applied).

This workshop takes places over two x 2.5 hour sessions and can be attended by the expectant parent along with their birth companion/partner or if preferred on your own.

The Workshop will cover:
- How to care for your baby in the 4th trimester
- Calming & Soothing Techniques
- Practical Baby Care including bathing/dressing & nappy changing
- Understanding newborn sleep & safe sleeping
- Creating a safe environment for your baby
- Postnatal recovery & self care
- Role of partner

Most expectant parents choose to attend the full Parent Course (see separate listing). However, to offer our parents complete flexibility you can choose the elements that are right for you (Birth Preparation Workshop, Infant Feeding Workshop, Newborn Care Workshop). I like to keep my class sizes to a maximum of six couples - pregnant person and their birth companion to give you the chance to get to know each other in a more calm and supportive environment.
