Description
The information on returning to training after having a baby can be confusing, conflicting and so difficult to manage around a newborn.
Our Postnatal Rebuild classes are designed for new Mums to rebuild their core and pelvic floor, to feel good through movement and build strength.
We lay the foundations of returning to training long term so that as baby grows, you can feel assured that you have done the necessary work to set new goals and continue to be excited about training and physical challenges in the future.
You will be working with:
Sophie Joyce - A Mum of 2 under 4 with a sports science degree and specialism in pre and postnatal for over a decade
Katherine Berlie - Mum and owner of GroundWork Training working daily with pregnant and postnatal Women who are keen to stay strong and resilient
Your body can often feel like it's not your own after having a baby, and our aim is help give you back a sense of autonomy, in an environment designed to inspire you to be physical, while accommodating the face that you have a little one that needs you close by.
Train within your limits and capabilities with an expert team, alongside others who are on the same journey and just as determined as you are.
If baby sleeps throughout, you're one of the lucky ones! If you need to take a break in class to change/feed baby or just take a moment to yourself, that is always completely fine. We will lead, but you go at your own pace.
Small prams will fit easily (i.e yoyo's), larger ones may not fit through the door but we can bring up the shutter if needed to accomodate. We have left a 30 minute gap at the end of the class to give you time to ask any questions and grab a coffee at the gym while you feed baby before heading off.
