Days with a mini one can be long and hard to fill! Our relaxed performances offer something to enjoy in your own right, with your baby or child welcome too. Simply bring a cushion and your coffee, and let some lovely music lift your afternoon. In hotter weather we have aircon, so come escape the afternoon heat and relax for a bit!

✨Session Details
We perform in the cosy theatre room at Pickled Pepper Books, under fairy-light twinkles and atmospheric stage lighting. Sets are new each week and currently vary between solo and group performances, featuring singing and at least one live instrument each week from guitar to piano and saxophone. Performers include experienced artists Esme Dale (BBC Introducing, Sofar Sounds), Lucie Neale (Mount View Musical Theatre MA), and Harry Gascoigne (Royal Conservatoire of Scotland) as well as occasional guests. We perform a range of genres from Pop to Folk, Jazz, Soul, Musical Theatre, Country and Blues, covering familiar hits from the 60s - present day plus lesser-known gems and originals. We encourage the odd singalong too (joining in optional)! Sometimes there's a mix of genres in one show; another week we may have a guest artist doing a whole set in their style. Please note prices vary slightly with the amount of performers and type of event.

🌞All Ages Welcome
Whilst this may suit pre-crawlers best, there is no age limit. We don't do kids' songs but live music can be a lovely experience for little ones nevertheless. The room is enclosed with a little gate, which is always handy with mobile babies! If you aren't sure whether the session will suit your child, do contact us. You are very welcome to stand, move around and feed as needed.
