THE JOLLY MELODIES MUSIC COMPANY

The 30-35 min, weekly, term time classes will be filled with singing, dancing, listening, playing percussion instruments, educational games, and structured activities; we use a variety of old favourites and original music. Each term we will have a new theme, (e.g. Colours, Transport, Spring) aimed at teaching different basic music concepts.

When you and your child are ready we will make a slow, monitored transition into Jolly Independent classes. This is a 45 minute class, where the children attend without their special grown up, (parent/carer stays on site).

THE AIMS OF JOLLY TODDLERS
1. To foster the idea that music is a pleasurable social activity.
2. To encourage listening skills, so essential not only in music, but in all other areas of learning.
3. To develop a sense of rhythm, through movement, games and the use of simple instruments.
4. To provide early training in singing.
5. To introduce basic concepts such as ‘stop’ and ’start’, ‘loud’ and ‘soft’, ‘up’ and ‘down’, etc.
6. To spread the idea that music and singing can be an integral part of everyday life.

My classes provide a safe and relaxed environment for you and your child/children, they are very inclusive and all needs are catered for. (Please let me know if you or your child have specific needs).

There is a 50% sibling discount for your second child.

Other family members are always welcome to attend classes.

Bookings or trial classes can be made part way through the term.

If you book for the term but can't make a class, for whatever reason, just text me to let me know and I'll send your class catch up options or if you can't make that, you can pass it onto a friend.

To save money on the booking fee, choose to pay via BACS.
