THE JOLLY MELODIES MUSIC COMPANY

This is the start of your magical, music journey with your baby.

The 30-35 min, weekly, term time classes will be filled with singing, dancing, listening, wiggling and lots of giggling! We'll wave and clap together, use lots of afe appropriate percussion instruments and always end with lots of bubbles! It'll also be a wonderful social opportunity for you to make new friends and bond with your baby.

When you and your baby are ready, we'll suggest a move to the next step on the programme, Jolly Toddlers, which has a new theme each term.

(Jolly Babies Moving On classes will be offered if there are quite a lot of younger toddlers that are not quite ready for the transition in to Jolly Toddlers).

You'll be singing and humming the songs all day long - Jolly Babies will become the highlight of your week!

THE AIMS OF JOLLY BABIES CLASSES
1. To foster the idea that music is a pleasurable activity.
2. To encourage listening skills, so essential not only in music, but in all other areas of learning.
3. To develop a sense of rhythm, initially through the movement of their parent’s body, then through their own movement, and through the use of simple instruments.
4. To enhance bonding between parent/carer and child through the shared experience of music.
5. To promote speech development.
6. To spread the idea that music and singing can be an integral part of everyday life.
7. To have fun and make friends.

My classes provide a safe and relaxed environment for you and your baby, they are very inclusive and all needs are catered for. (Please let me know if you or your child have specific needs).
