Description
An hour of music for 0-3s, led by trained Suzuki violin and early childhood education teacher Hannah and partner teacher Marcia, in a calm and nurturing environment.
Join us for action songs and rhymes, body percussion, playing on the woodblock, xylophone, glockenspiel, the triangle, rainstick, and shakers, drumming, counting, dancing, stories and more!
Suzuki Music Time is a class developed in Canada in the 90s, and now taught lovingly all over the world. It was officially approved by the Japanese music pedagogue Dr Suzuki as the early years programme for the Suzuki Method.
We believe that helping children learn music from a young age, together with their parents and in a musical community, can help develop not only wonderful musicians, but people who are kind to each other.
The classes are at the Suzuki Hub in Hoxton, on Thursdays at 11am.
There are changing facilities, toilets, and space to leave buggies inside.
The first class is free, and then it's £16 per week, paid as a course. We have bursaries available for families who need them.
